AVA Consulting is seeking an ACS Field Engineer

Location: Georgetown, KY

Company Background: Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for an ACS Field Engineer to be part of its team in its North American operations

Job Description:
Serve as "Subject Matter Expert " related to Civil, Structural systems.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules.
  • Provide internal review of CS system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with related local, state, national codes, facility operations and client standards.
  • Shop drawing review, RFI processing and Kanban completion for Client systems.
  • Coordination of weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors, plant facilities groups, and manufacturing groups.
  • Conduct work progress inspections on a continuous basis.
  • Support construction administration activities related to schedule coordination, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in construction management. (Industrial/Commercial Building) MUST HAVE
  • Experience in design criteria development for Civil Structural systems.
  • Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities or similar industrial manufacturer.
  • 5+ years in Civil design field.
  • Good organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project
