As an Engineering Manager for our Data Platform reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you'll play a critical role in leading the team that transforms multi-modal content into trusted, governed data powering business decisions and AI capabilities across Nasdaq.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of engineers, establishing clear expectations, growth plans, and feedback rituals that foster ownership and psychological safety.
- Define and execute quarterly roadmaps in partnership with Product, translating strategy into measurable outcomes with predictable delivery and transparent stakeholder communication.
- Set the technical direction for data pipelines and multi-agent workflows, including data ingestion, document understanding, entity resolution, and master data management.
- Champion platform standards for observability, lineage, metadata, and reusability while driving operational excellence through monitoring, incident response, and cost optimization.
- Partner with Product, Security, and Data Governance teams to align on business outcomes and balance speed, reliability, and cost across platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software or data engineering experience with 3+ years directly leading engineering teams.
- Proven track record delivering data platforms or large-scale systems in production with measurable reliability and cost outcomes.
- Strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, distributed data processing, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across global, matrixed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building multi-agent systems or agentic workflows for production data automation.
- Expertise with modern data platforms, lakehouse architectures, and governance frameworks.
- Prior experience in hiring, interviewing, and building early-career engineering pipelines.
