Senior Business Analyst

Palmer Group has partnered with a well-known company in Indiana to fill a 1-year contract Senior Business Analyst position. This role is responsible for managing all communication with electronic case report (eCR) and electronic lab report (ELR) data providers, clinics, laboratories, hospitals, internal IT staff, the Health Information Exchange (HIE), and more. Additionally, the position involves investigating problems with electronic data and performing testing on all electronic data submitted. What you will do:

• Resolve complex issues by developing test scenarios, cases, and scripts aligned with system design requirements and workflows
• Identify, replicate, and isolate root causes; offer workarounds while testing, fixing, and patching in both staging and test environments
• Oversee system issues and offer feedback
• Diagnose and resolve front-end and back-end issues by identifying root causes, hypothesizing, creating possible solutions, and testing in a QA environment
• Problem-solve by collaborating with software developers, policy/business staff, and vendor specialists
• Support users in tracking and analyzing their data through SQL querying and reporting
• Collaborate with application developers, project management, end users, and other personnel to familiarize with features and develop a complete, thorough test strategy to ensure functionality

What you will need to be successful:

• Experience with writing, analyzing, and refining SQL queries to answer questions and solve problems
• Strong SQL expertise
• Experience with designing test scenarios, cases, and scripts aligned with system design requirements and workflows
• Significant experience with debugging applications
