Job Details

Requirements:

  • 9years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
  • Experience in PostgreSQL for implementing database objects on AWS Redshift.
  • Experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Experience in Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
  • Experience in JMS messaging, SOAP, and RESTful services.
  • Experience with AWS data products.
  • Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry in a data architecture role.
  • Expertise in Informatica development focused on data engineering and integration.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for: System performance, Data source connectivity Space/system logging
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance, audit reporting, and disaster recovery/business continuity (DR/BC) processes.
  • Willingness to be trained in Advanced Data Engineering and Integration using IDMC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with defining data integration requirements and resolving JIRA tickets within sprints.
  • Analyze and create functional requirements and mapping documents.
  • Develop ETL components (connectors, mappings, sessions, workflows) based on design specifications.
  • Apply quality design patterns and conduct unit testing.
  • Debug mappings, resolve errors, and reload data to target systems.
  • Perform performance tuning of mappings and load routines.
  • Act as a peer reviewer and mentor to junior team members.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on IDMC components and architecture.
  • Profile data to inform integration strategies and design decisions.
  • Monitor IDMC environments and troubleshoot service/job issues.
  • Prioritize and resolve issues based on business impact for both operational and project support.
  • Report on IDMC operations, job performance trends, and resource utilization.
  • Support Cloud support team in monitoring and measuring system health and uptime metrics.
  • Evaluate, install, and configure new IDMC software releases, upgrades, and patches.
  • Document system infrastructure, data architecture, ETL processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Lead and improve Data Lifecycle Management and change management procedures.
  • Recommend enhancements to reduce risk and improve architecture efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and technical activities.
