Responsibilties:
Role summary
Software Architect responsible for application architecture, refactoring strategy, and evaluating/improving observability platforms (logging, metrics, tracing) across Azure-hosted .NET applications.
Responsibilities
Define and evolve application and integration architecture for .NET and Azure-based solutions, aligning with security, scalability, and reliability goals.
Assess existing applications and design refactoring/modernization roadmaps (modularization, migration to .NET Core, cloud-native patterns, performance, and security improvements).
Review and optimize use of observability platforms( Dynatrace , Logic Monitor etc ), and recommend standards for logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
Partner with Security and DevOps to ensure vulnerabilities are systematically identified and addressed through architecture patterns and guardrails.
Provide architectural guidance to development teams, including reference implementations, review of key design decisions, and enforcement of coding and design standards.
Document target architectures, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements, and present recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
Required qualifications
10+ years of experience in .NET application development, with at least 3 5 years in an architecture or lead role.
Strong background in designing and refactoring enterprise .NET applications for Azure (multi-tier, microservices, API-first, event-driven patterns).
Hands-on understanding of observability practices and tools: centralized logging, metrics dashboards, alerts, and tracing in Azure environments.
Solid grasp of secure design principles, threat considerations, and how architecture impacts vulnerability remediation and compliance.
Preferred
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries, familiar with security, privacy, and auditability requirements.
Experience standardizing organization-wide observability practices and KPIs (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets).
