Oracle PPM/Production Support/Billing

iSphere, a leading Houston IT consulting company, is seeking a highly skilled Oracle PPM Candidate with expertise in Production Support and Project Billing For a full-time 99% REMOTE opportunity. This role requires the ability to lead the project support and billing aspects of the business while also providing training to others.

Please note that this position does not involve implementing Oracle; it is a key support role within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead functional application resource for operational support and maintenance of the Oracle Cloud PPM application, specifically Billing/Receivables/Contract.
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between PPM and other applications within the Oracle Cloud instance, as well as external systems such as payroll, time and attendance, and sales tax - Project Accounting.
- Maintain Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules related to PPM and General Ledger.
- Configure Invoicing capabilities within Oracle PPM, considering the impact on other modules like the General Ledger and Accounts Receivable.
- Support PPM reconciliation activities to ensure accurate and complete data.
- Collaborate with application and technical resources to manage data across different systems.
- Analyze, design, document, and test new or existing application functionality enhancements.
- Conduct unit testing and integrated system testing to ensure that updates and modifications meet specifications and do not negatively impact application performance and functionality.
- Actively participate in all phases of the application development life cycle and adhere to the IT Change Management process.
- Provide support by managing end-user requests and monitoring service requests, ensuring timely resolution of business issues.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience Required:
- 3-5 years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud financials modules that interface with Oracle PPM.
- Working experience and understanding of all application support and software development life cycle phases.
- Proficiency in data extracts and updates within single or multiple tables.

Other Requirements:
- Solid understanding of IT General Controls and SOX compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
