Overview
LMI seeks an experienced Data Engineer to support the U.S. Army Center for Initial Military Training's (CIMT) Holistic Health & Fitness Management System (H2FMS).
H2FMS is the Army's secure cloud environment that hosts and integrates the vendor-developed H2F Application, enabling secure data ingestion, transformation, storage, access, and analytics for Human Performance Specialists and Army leadership.
The Data Engineer will design, develop, and sustain data pipelines, ETL processes, secure data stores, access layers, and APIs that enable analytics, dashboards, and UI capabilities. This role requires strong data engineering expertise, understanding of DoW cloud environments, secure data handling practices, and experience working within multidisciplinary Agile teams.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who can build scalable data workflows in AWS, Azure, or cARMY; ensure compliance with Army data governance requirements; and collaborate closely with cloud architects, cybersecurity specialists, DevSecOps engineers, full stack developers, and Human Performance SMEs.
LMI is a new breed of digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed. Investing in technology and prototypes ahead of need, LMI brings commercial-grade platforms and mission-ready AI to federal agencies at commercial speed.
Leveraging our mission-ready technology and solutions, proven expertise in federal deployment, and strategic relationships, we enhance outcomes for the government, efficiently and effectively. With a focus on agility and collaboration, LMI serves the defense, space, healthcare, and energy sectors-helping agencies navigate complexity and outpace change. Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.
