Job Description:

Position: Deployment Engineer

Location: Hybrid 3 days per week (Kennesaw, GA OR Charlotte, NC OR Pennington, NJ)

Duration: 12 - 18 months

Pay Rate Range: up to $70/hr.

Requirements:
  • You will be joining an infrastructure team of 18 that manages deployments and patching for Employee technology and retail sites.
  • Lead enterprise-wide software deployment initiatives, including full-stack upgrades and configurations across Windows and Mac environments.
  • Manage monthly patching cycles for critical apps (OS, Edge, Chrome, Adobe, Java, etc.) using Workspace ONE, SCCM (ConfigMgr), and other modern tools.
  • Play a key role in strategic Windows 11 rollouts, Teams and OneDrive upgrades, and other financial institution wide initiatives.
  • Support and evolve the macOS enterprise infrastructure - integrating Workspace ONE as the strategic platform, transitioning away from tools like Jamf and Munki.

Requirements:
  • Strong Microsoft OS troubleshooting experience. Windows 10 and 11 experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Python
  • 3+ years as a PC Technician
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL Release and Change Management processes.
  • Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to new processes and procedures in a timely manner.
  • Works independently with general guidance.
  • Communicates effectively and clearly across audiences (business partner, internal and external service providers)
  • Continuously learn and adapt. Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, processes, and technologies.
  • Experience identifying potential issues users may encounter.
  • Takes ownership - is dependable and conscientiously follows through on commitments.
  • ITIL V3 Foundations certification.
  • Networking basics.
