Job title: Senior Murex Technical Architect Engineer

Location: Remote

Position: Contract

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the existing Murex technical architecture across production and non-production environments
  • Perform deep incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, with timely escalation to L1/L2/L3 support as needed
  • Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Shell, Perl) to automate incident checks, health monitoring, and log analysis
  • Manage Murex environments: cloning, data refresh, decommissioning, capacity planning, and system tuning
  • Assist with Murex upgrades, new model installation, configuration rollouts, and system performance tuning

Preferred Technical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
  • Deep understanding of Murex technical domains, particularly:
    • S4C Datamart, reporting, interface, and batch configuration
    • PAC Trade lifecycle processing, event management, pricing and risk
    • CEM Environment setup, configuration, deployment strategies, and monitoring
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration, message queues (e.g., MQ), APIs, and scheduling tools
  • Ability to interpret Murex logs, trace errors across layers, and document findings for resolution
