Microsoft Intune Engineer 100% Remote
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, modern device management, or Windows systems administration.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Intune, including Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, Endpoint Security, application deployment, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot, provisioning, device enrollment methods, and troubleshooting deployment failures.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills, including automation, application packaging (PSADT), system configuration, and workflow orchestration.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS internals, including imaging, customization, driver management, and OS lifecycle management.
- Experience designing and supporting certificate-based authentication solutions (SCEP, NDES, PKI).
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, including device identity, conditional access, hybrid join, and role-based access controls.
- Experience with patch management and vulnerability remediation using Intune, Windows Update for Business, or similar enterprise tools.
- Strong understanding of security hardening practices for endpoints, including Defender, Firewall, BitLocker, and CIS benchmarks.
- Proficiency with enterprise application deployment, including versioning, rollback, and automation strategies.
- Experience with monitoring, analytics, and reporting (Log Analytics, Intune Reports, Azure Monitor, or similar tools).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex endpoint issues, including networking, authentication, policy conflicts, and deployment failures.
- Strong documentation skills, with experience creating runbooks, knowledge base articles, and engineering documentation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (security, operations, networking, compliance).
- Familiarity with macOS, iOS, or iPadOS device management (nice to have but not required).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
