Title: Medicaid Business Analyst

Project Overview
This role supports federally mandated updates to a Medicaid system. The Medicaid Business Analyst will perform configuration management functions, support migration activities using ChangeMan, manage intake and release coordination, assist with project documentation, and collaborate across technical and business teams. The role will also support dashboards, asset management initiatives, and artifact organization.
Key Responsibilities
Perform configuration management tasks and support software migration activities using ChangeMan
Identify testing needs and assist in implementation activities for new system releases
Gather and document business requirements; support related project workstreams
Build and maintain interactive dashboards to support business operations
Manage intake and release coordination processes, including:
Distributing intake/RFC documentation
Gathering level of effort feedback and questions from application teams
Providing weekly release reports and updating monthly metrics
Maintain and update release plans and configuration documentation according to change management requirements
Serve as backup for software migrations into production, verifying approvals and authorization steps
Train new team members on configuration management processes, software, and operational procedures
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on special projects
Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
Required Skills
5+ years experience supporting Medicaid IT Services
5+ years experience with ChangeMan configuration management tool
2+ years experience with Translator Tool
5+ years experience using BMC FootPrints or similar ticketing system
3+ years QA testing experience
Strong communication, analytical thinking, adaptability, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Required Education
Bachelor s Degree
Preferred Skills
SQL
Mainframe exposure
COBOL familiarity
