Pay Range: $70-$80/hr on W2 (As per experience)

Job Description:
Summary
  • The vision for the AI/ML Data organization is to improve products by using data as the voice of our customers. Within this organization, the mission of the ML & Data Application team is to develop algorithms to help improve Foundational Models, as well as building apps to collect valuable data to improve model capabilities. As a Senior front-end Engineer on the team, you will develop apps that showcase the advanced capabilities of Foundation Models

Description
  • You will partner closely with Foundation Model team and AI product teams to develop front-end applications for understanding complex aspects of the user experiences. You will guide best practices on the visual presentation of information and information architecture of data products. You will perform exploratory analyses to enrich our mental models about LLM capabilities and identify new questions to pursue.
  • We are looking for people with a track record in building front-end products and relationships to affect decisions. Join us, and impact future iterations of Foundation Model and FM powered AI product features over many locales and many interfaces!

Minium Qualifications
  • Have experience building front-end applications using React and other UI frameworks.
  • Have expertise in modern Javascript and data visualization libraries (e.g. D3, VisX, Vega). Data visualization skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with API development using web frameworks (e.g., Express).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Mocha).
  • Have familiarity with at least one backend programming language (e.g. Python) and are comfortable developing tools in a team environment (e.g. git, documentation, testing).
  • Are self-motivated and curious with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities and an innate drive to improve how things work.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with LLM applications, especially agentic workflows
  • Have good judgment for balancing art and science when visually communicating information.
  • You have a high tolerance for ambiguity. You find a way through. You anticipate. You connect and synthesize.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in influencing decisions with information.
