RHEL Systems Engineer HPC/GPU Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RHEL Systems Engineer with extensive expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, shell scripting, and high-end GPU workstation support. The ideal candidate will install, configure, and manage enterprise software solutions, troubleshoot complex RHEL issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects. This role also includes conducting HPC performance testing, generating reports, and occasionally leading project meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain high-end GPU workstations for compute-intensive workloads.

  • Install, configure, and manage enterprise software solutions on RHEL platforms, ensuring security and compliance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in RHEL environments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for large-scale projects.

  • Conduct HPC platform performance testing using custom scripts and analyze results.

  • Prepare detailed reports on system performance, resource utilization, and optimization recommendations.

  • Lead meetings and coordinate project efforts to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 administration and technical support.

  • Strong proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python) and automation tools.

  • Experience supporting GPU workstation environments.

  • Solid understanding of HPC performance testing and data analysis.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

  • Experience in enterprise-level software installation/configuration on Linux systems.
