RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Birmingham, AL that is seeking a Business Analyst.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with strong analytical skills and moderate technical aptitude to join a high-impact origination project team. This individual will play a critical role in analyzing architectural diagrams, building workflow documentation, and driving cross-functional collaboration across testing, UX, and data teams.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, detail-oriented, and capable of identifying data irregularities and business requirements across multiple platforms-including KYC, KYB, and other regulatory frameworks. The role will focus heavily on financial data analysis, system workflows, and project support across the origination lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Analyze architectural and process diagrams to define workflows and identify system gaps
* Identify and document business and functional requirements
* Collaborate closely with testing teams to ensure solution alignment
* Partner with UX teams to enhance user experience through functional designs
* Perform cross-platform data analysis to identify abnormalities and ensure data integrity
* Support origination projects including data collection processes and compliance standards (e.g., KYC/KYB)
* Utilize Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation
* Assist in creating process visuals and documentation using Figma or Visio (nice to have)
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field and 6 years of experience in Business/Systems Analysis, or a High School diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
* 5-7 years of experience in a Business/Systems Analyst role
* Moderate technical aptitude, with the ability to understand architecture and system interdependencies
* Demonstrated success in cross-functional environments

Preferred Qualifications:
* Background in consumer or commercial banking, especially within financial or regulatory project environments
* Experience with origination systems, compliance data analysis (KYC, KYB), and cross-platform integration
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
