Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced PEGA Lead System Architect (LSA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in PEGA platform design and implementation, and preferably, a strong background in the insurance industry, including domains such as Property & Casualty (P&C), Life & Annuities, Health, or Commercial Insurance.
The PEGA LSA will be responsible for defining technical solutions, guiding development teams, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable and robust PEGA-based business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end PEGA solution architecture and technical design efforts across large-scale implementations.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and performant PEGA applications.
Provide hands-on leadership in PEGA development, including case design, data modeling, UI/UX design, integrations, and rules configuration.
Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and guardrails aligned with PEGA's architecture and design principles.
Conduct architecture and code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with enterprise architects and domain experts to ensure integration with existing systems and data models.
Mentor and guide junior PEGA developers and system architects.
Support project planning, effort estimation, and risk identification.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the PEGA platform, including recent features, enhancements, and roadmap.
Required Qualifications:
PEGA Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification (mandatory).
10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in PEGA architecture roles.
Proven experience leading the design and delivery of enterprise-grade PEGA applications.
Strong command of PRPC concepts, case lifecycle design, flows, rules, decisioning, and data pages.
Experience with PEGA integration patterns: REST, SOAP, MQ, Kafka, etc.
Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD practices in PEGA environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience delivering PEGA solutions in the insurance sector (e.g., Claims, Policy Administration, Underwriting, Customer Service, FNOL).
Familiarity with industry data models such as ACORD.
Experience with PEGA Customer Service, PEGA Decisioning (ADM), or PEGA Smart Claims is a plus.
Exposure to cloud-native PEGA deployments (e.g., PEGA Cloud, AWS, Azure).
Agile/Scrum project experience.
