Job Details

Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, implement, and optimize solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting public sector or government clients and a strong background in ITSM, ITOM, and related modules. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including customizations and integrations.
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team s technical growth.
  • Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
  • Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and workflow automation.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM (PSDS), HAM.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience supporting public sector or government organizations is a must.
Preferred Skills:
  • Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations
  • Mentoring and conducting code reviews
  • Knowledge of compliance and security requirements in government environments
