Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, implement, and optimize solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting public sector or government clients and a strong background in ITSM, ITOM, and related modules. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting public sector or government clients and a strong background in ITSM, ITOM, and related modules. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including customizations and integrations.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team s technical growth.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
- Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and workflow automation.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM (PSDS), HAM.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Prior experience supporting public sector or government organizations is a must.
Preferred Skills:
- Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations
- Mentoring and conducting code reviews
- Knowledge of compliance and security requirements in government environments
