Job Title : Workday Financial Technical Architect

Location : New York City, NY | Hybrid

Duration : Long Term

Job Description:

  • Hands-on Workday Financials experience, either as a consultant or as a Workday system administrator; certifications a plus.
  • Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and deploying solutions to meet client requirements and strong background of producing detailed technical architecture deliverables.
  • 4+ years' experience with Banking systems architecture and ERP in Banking IT environment; strong understanding of interfaces with Banking systems and external or vendor systems interacting with ERP systems in a Banking IT environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Workday FDM certification or experience is required for this position
  • Experience implementing Workday financial solutions as a Workday consultant
  • Extensive experience as a functional lead in at least three (3) of the following areas:
  • FDM, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Grant and/or Fund Management, Procurement, Fixed Assets, Projects, Cash/Treasury, Financial Reporting
  • Experience re-engineering finance business processes
  • Experience developing functional business integration requirements
  • Experience with 3rd party integration providers
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards and compliance
