Senior Workday Integration Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Workday Integration Developer in Morristown, NJ (hybrid - some on site expected; 2 or more days a week on site). This is a Full-Time (Contract-to-Hire) position.

Overview:
Were looking for a hands-on Senior Workday Integration Developer who can bridge the gap between HR and technology. This role involves building and maintaining integrations that connect Workday with other enterprise platforms, while also supporting ongoing system configuration and process improvements within HR technology. The ideal candidate combines strong technical integration skills with a solid understanding of HR data and business processes.

What You'll Do:
Integration Development & Support:
* Design, build, and maintain custom integrations between Workday and internal/external systems
* Utilize Workday Studio, Extend, and EIBs to manage API and data workflows
* Develop secure, scalable solutions that ensure consistent data exchange and process automation
* Troubleshoot integration and data flow issues, working closely with infrastructure and HR teams

Workday Administration & Enhancements:
* Administer and configure core HR modules such as HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Absence
* Implement updates, business process changes, and reporting enhancements
* Manage security, permissions, and release activities in partnership with HR leadership
* Serve as a trusted technical resource to HR for system-related initiatives and upgrades

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
* 3+ years of experience designing and supporting APIs and system integrations
* 2+ years of working directly with Workday configuration and administration
* Proficiency in Workday Studio, Extend, EIBs, and Workday Web Services (WWS)
* Knowledge of authentication and security standards such as OAuth and SAML
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to data accuracy
* 2 days a week or more required on site

Nice-to-Haves:
* Workday certifications (Integration Core, Studio, Extend, or HCM)
* Experience with middleware or integration platforms like MuleSoft or Dell Boomi
* Familiarity with compliance and data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
