Telephony Engineer

Location: Irvine or Fountain Valley, CA - Hybrid 3 days onsite (locals only)

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $65/hr c2c / 1099

Must have skills-

• Cisco UCS
• Cisco UCCE
• Contact Center expertise, most specifically Five9.com SaaS but any relevant provider

Responsibilities and experience needed:

• Demonstrated experience in Cisco UCS, Cisco UCCE
• Strong experience in Contact Center expertise, most specifically Five9.com SaaS but any relevant provider 
• Adept at Monitoring, Troubleshooting, and Upgrading the components of a Cisco Voice Infrastructure.
• Strong experience in Telephony services like IP telephony, IP PBX, Handset, Voicemail solutions, and Call control via tickets.
• Strong experience working with End users to troubleshoot and Familiar with Cisco CLI issues
• Hands on experience with ticketing tool applications like Altiris and Solar Winds Service Desk
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes
• Strong experience in UCCX and UCCE. Call Router, Logger, Cisco Webex & SIP
• Stay updated on industry trends and help implement best practices
• Good communication and ability to interact with both interna;/external business stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent working experience or Master’s degree in Telecommunications and Networking Engineering, a related field,
• 7 years of IT relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience
