Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and enhance the technology operations for our organization in Houston, Texas. This role will focus on ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems while driving strategic initiatives to align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring leadership expertise in managing technical teams, implementing robust processes, and fostering collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procedures to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient IT systems, including network communications, storage, and computing resources.
Monitor and enforce security protocols to protect digital files and electronic infrastructure, responding promptly to breaches and other security challenges.
Manage IT operations to optimize resource allocation, ensure timely project completion, and address incidents effectively.
Oversee the documentation of processes and change management for IT infrastructure systems.
Regularly review security standards and address deficiencies, ensuring staff are up-to-date with necessary security training.
Collaborate with leadership to prioritize IT objectives and evaluate system enhancement requests, while providing regular project updates.
Investigate and resolve escalated customer issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Develop IT policies, procedures, and service level agreements to maintain operational excellence.
Ensure IT equipment and applications enhance efficiency, patient safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Prepare and manage IT capital and operational budgets to align with financial goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
At least five years of experience managing IT teams or leading projects; eight years of experience in Information Systems preferred.
Proven expertise in project management and analytical problem-solving.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Cisco technologies, cloud platforms, Active Directory, and backup systems.
Knowledge of auditing processes and configuration management.
Familiarity with computer hardware and healthcare industry experience is desirable.
