Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud environments.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of the Informatica platform including job scheduling, logs, performance, and uptime.
  • Manage user security, roles, and permissions within Informatica.
  • Handle capacity planning, backup/recovery strategies, and DR planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures, performance issues, and connectivity problems.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for ETL operations and administration.
  • Support development and QA teams by creating and managing integration environments.
  • Automate routine administrative tasks using shell scripting or tools like Python/Perl.
  • Work closely with DBAs to manage data source connectivity and performance.
  • Participate in production on-call rotation and incident resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Informatica Administrator.
  • Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and Informatica Cloud administration.
  • Experience in ETL lifecycle management, repository maintenance, and metadata management.
  • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Good understanding of relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with job schedulers such as Autosys, Control-M, or Tivoli.
  • Familiarity with data integration best practices and performance tuning.
