Senior Application Developer

Location: Des Moines

We are seeking a seasoned Application Developer with a strong background in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications. This role involves translating application storyboards and use cases into functional solutions across various platforms.

<>Key Responsibilities:</>
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and develop effective solutions.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Write clean, readable, and reusable code libraries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
<>Technical Skills & Qualifications:</>
  • Proficiency in one or more applicable programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Web, Mobile, Reporting/Analytics, legacy systems).
  • Strong understanding of Java frameworks, particularly Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with RESTful services and API integration.
  • Solid working knowledge of SQL, preferably with SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
  • Understanding of scalable application design principles and class loading mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of relevant ecosystems, frameworks, and services.
<>Preferred Experience:</>
  • 6+ years of hands-on Java development.
  • Experience in building enterprise-level applications.
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
