Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Spring Hill on a full-time basis.

The Role:

As a Paint Process Engineer work is performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where creativity and initiative is exercised as well as independent judgment.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
  • Responsible for Paint Automation, up to 100 FANUC robots
  • Responsible for overseeing UAW union hourly employees
  • Manufacturing process definition
  • Human factors consideration
  • Efficient material flow
  • Providing technical direction to and oversight of outside vendor sources
  • Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology


Additional Job Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Supervisory experience)
  • 1+ years of PT/ED experience
  • Mechanical experience - ability to troubleshoot process and equipment problems.
  • Ability to independently drive problems to resolution.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints.

  • Experience with FANUC Robots; P-155, P-200, P-500, P-700, S-500, M-710, M-2000
