Description
We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Controls Application Engineer in DAVENPORT, Iowa. As a part of the construction industry, the selected candidate will be involved in the design, installation, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electronic control systems for various projects.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the electronic control systems designed and installed meet the OSHA safety standards
Delivering projects within the defined budget and timeframe while upholding the quality and minimizing warranty issues
Interacting with customers, IT teams, and subcontractors for successful integration and system design for automation and controls projects
Utilizing engineering drawings for system design, creating submittals, generating operation manuals, and delivering complete project documentation
Addressing operational or installation issues with deployed control systems
Applying computer hardware and software programs knowledge, specifically Honeywell, in daily tasks.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Construction/Contractor industry
Proficiency in using computer hardware and software programs
Expertise in Honeywell systems and products
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Strong understanding of control theory and control systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to stay updated on new technologies and software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry.
