Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Junior Business Analyst to join our team. In this entry-level position, you will work closely with senior analysts, stakeholders, and development teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and help deliver effective solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow their skills in business analysis, project support, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders
- Support the analysis of current processes and identify areas for improvement
- Help translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and presentations with business and technical teams
- Assist in the development and testing of proposed solutions
- Create and maintain project documentation, process flows, and reports
- Support change management and training efforts during project implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product managers
- Track project progress and assist in preparing status reports
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Assistant, or similar role (internships or academic projects accepted)
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Basic understanding of business analysis techniques and methodologies (e.g., SWOT, GAP analysis, process mapping)
- Familiarity with requirements documentation and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
- Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
- Problem-solving mindset and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
