Position: Project Coordinator/Specialist III - Launch Specialist
Location: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid
Mode: Contract - W2
Pay rate: $55/hr - $60/hr on w2
Type: 3 months Contract with Potential fulltime hire if business needs
Note: Looking Candidates who is having experience with helping restaurants or bars open in a new location
Candidate must be in SFO Bay area
About the Role
- The client is seeking a Launch Specialist to on board restaurant merchants, provide hands-on training, and enhance their overall experience throughout their lifecycle on the platform. This role is highly cross-functional working with sales, account management, operations, product, and analytics teams and involves significant travel to merchant sites both regionally and nationwide.
- This is a hybrid role (partially remote, partially in-office in San Francisco) with regular travel required. You will report to the Manager of Launch and Product Ops within the Platform Operations organization
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface with restaurant merchants, ensuring a smooth onboarding and positive platform experience.
- Design and execute onboarding strategies to create a seamless and delightful merchant experience.
- Provide hands-on support with hardware setup and software configuration.
- Develop training materials and lead in-person and virtual merchant staff trainings.
- Analyse and identify opportunities to improve merchant workflows to maximize adoption and revenue.
- Deliver results quickly while adapting to an evolving environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to refine onboarding and operational strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years experience in hospitality, restaurant management, or systems implementation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks accurately, effectively, and on time.
- Excellent customer support and communication skills (both internal and external).
- Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred
