Description: Our client is currently seeking a Linux Cloud Platform Engineer
1+ Year Contract
Malvern, PA---hybrid (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)
Responsibilities:
Linux Cloud Compute engineer in the Infrastructure Operations organization
Monitor, manage and maintenance of the Linux, Compute, Storage, AWS, Google Cloud Platform resources and AI systems.
Administer systems by actively managing patching, routine maintenance, and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks.
Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and drive platform improvements.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in AWS and Google cloud administration/operations/services (AWS or Google Cloud Platform) and their AI/ML and data engineering service offerings.
Understanding of cross-platform Linux systems within an enterprise environment.
Strong experience in scripting languages like Python, Go and Terraform for automation/administrative purposes.
Experience with version control tools such as GitHub.
Must be a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills complimenting a passion for learning/sharing information from and with peers.
