Job Details

DPP is seeking a .NET Software Architect for a part-time opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:
  • Remote
  • W2 position; part-time, 2 months with possible extension
  • Part-time - 32.65 hrs./week. Hours are between 8 am and 5 pm Eastern
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • 5+ years experience in a Technical/Process Management leadership role in a large (500+) IT organization
  • 5+ years of supervising experience
  • 5+ years of experience with SC Grants and Scholarship procedures
  • 2+ years of experience with direct interaction with the external stakeholders
  • Expert in .NET application development (2+ years)
  • .NET Framework 3.5/4.0 experience (2+ years)
  • SQL database experience (2+ years)
  • Bachelor s degree and 2 years of experience in the field
Preferred:
  • Must be experienced with SC Grants and Scholarship Policies and Procedures
  • Intimate knowledge of the client s Technical College System Grants Management Application (GMS)
  • Communication skills
  • Planning with emphasis on meeting the established timeline
Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to the internal divisions and 16 technical colleges on the project as well as auditing and documentation of events and processes.
Project scope:
  • The current Grants Management System lacks a structured way to capture data for a newly awarded grant.
  • To address this, the client needs to define a series of new pages and a configurable (by grant type) application flow that facilitates the collection of these new data types.
