Information Technology - Developer-UX User Interface Professional

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Developer-UX User Interface Professional with our mortgage loan corporation client in their McLean, VA location. This is a 6 month + contract position.

Summary:
The client's Financial Engineering team is seeking UX/UI Designer for a large strategic financial project.
The position is focused on enhancing and improving enterprise level application user interface.
The candidate will closely work with the financial engineering team to create intuitive and user-friendly interface and collaborate with other stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for designing wireframes and prototypes and ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design user-friendly, responsive and visually appealing interface for enterprise level financial application.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-quality UI design using Figma.
• Enhance the existing design system to improve user experience.
• Work closely with UI developers to insure seamless implementation of UX/UI design.
• Conduct user research, usability testing and analyze feedback to improve design decision.
• Collaborate with product owner, developers and stakeholders to understand end-user needs.
• Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and technologies .

Requirements:

• 3+ experience in UX/UI design in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD or similar design tool.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, SASS.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of modern UI libraries such as Material-UI
• A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work on enterprise applications.

• Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, Associate degree in Graphic design, User Experience design, Human-Computer Interaction or similar but not required.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in enterprise application design.

Pay rate range: $55.00 - $58.00 hourly
