infrastructure project manager (M&A)

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of project management/PMO experience in the areas of IT transformation and system migrations
• Proven experience in supporting the infrastructure workstream in a spinoff/divestiture or merger (MUST HAVE M&A or divestiture experience)
• Strong understanding of networking, the cloud, Active Directory, end-user computing, data centers, etc.
• Ability to coordinate global, cross-functional teams to ensure overall alignment
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment, including planning, executive-level reporting, risk mitigation, and dependency management
• Experience in vendor management, including managed service providers, operational equipment manufacturers, and cloud providers
• Knowledge of IT controls and security best practices
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred
• Service Now Experience
• ITIL certification preferred
• Must have college degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Project Management / Business or similar

Responsibilities:

O The project manager helps to execute specific components of the IT separation strategy, aligning it with the spinoff s business objectives and timelines.

O Acts as the main point of contact between business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and external consultants to ensure clear communication and alignment.

O Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks and issues related to the IT separation-specific project(s), ensuring business continuity.

o Manages budgets, allocates resources, and tracks expenditures to keep assigned project(s) within scope and financial constraints.

O Leads organizational change efforts, including communication, training, and adoption strategies for spinoff systems and processes.
