Chief Information Officer (CIO)


As the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will lead the strategic direction, execution, and evolution of the company's technology landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that IT infrastructure, systems, and innovation efforts directly support and accelerate the company's business objectives-particularly the performance, scalability, and security of our eCommerce platform.


You will drive digital transformation, oversee cross-functional tech teams, champion emerging technologies, and cultivate a high-impact technology environment that enhances both operational efficiency and customer experience.




Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute an IT strategy aligned with business growth, innovation, and operational excellence.




  • Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize technology initiatives and investments.




  • Anticipate technology trends and translate them into actionable business opportunities.

  • Oversee all technical operations of the eCommerce platform, ensuring uptime, performance, and user satisfaction.




  • Lead ongoing development and optimization of the platform's UI/UX to deliver a seamless customer experience.




  • Ensure agile delivery of product enhancements, new features, and performance improvements.

  • Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy to protect customer data and transactions.

  • Manage scalable cloud infrastructure, networks, and databases to support business growth.

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT organization with a focus on innovation, delivery, and accountability.

  • Oversee relationships with external technology partners, vendors, and consultants.




  • Manage procurement, contract negotiations, and third-party integrations aligned with business priorities.






Key Qualifications


Education




  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.




Experience




  • 10+ years in senior IT leadership roles, with proven success managing large-scale digital platforms.




  • Experience in eCommerce, digital marketplaces, or related technologies highly desirable.




  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and platform scaling.




Skills




  • Deep knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and system integration.




  • Strong understanding of data privacy laws and compliance standards.




  • Ability to evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies that deliver competitive advantage.




  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
