About the Role:

  • Client is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Engineer to join client's team on a contract basis.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Candidate will work closely with DevOps, application development, and security teams to implement cloud solutions that align with client's business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Google Cloud Platform-based solutions to support scalable and secure applications.
  • Manage and monitor cloud resources, services, and security using Google Cloud Platform-native tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide cloud architecture guidance.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline integration and configuration on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Perform cost optimization, security hardening, and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot issues across cloud services and applications.
  • Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Google Cloud Engineer or similar role.

In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:

  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering.
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
