Systems Analyst

Job Responsibilities

At least 1 or 2 Programming languages: e.g. C#, C++, Java, .Net, SQL, etc. Software design, documentation, testing, and maintenance.

Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems, designing and testing standards and solutions.

Collaborates with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent. Designing new computer systems and frameworks.

Troubleshooting technical issues. Risk mitigation planning.

Create system guidelines and manuals for the organization.

Run training sessions and workshops on system processes.

Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas.

Structuring and prioritizing business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval.

Defines application problems by conferring with clients, evaluating procedures and processes.

Develop solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.

Control solution by establishing specifications and coordinating production with programmers. Validates results by testing programs.

Ensure operation by training client personnel and providing support.

Provides reference by writing documentation.

Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Required Skills

At least 1 or 2 Programming languages: e.g. C#, C++, Java, .Net, SQL, etc. Software design, documentation, testing, and maintenance. Software and Hardware requirements.

Education, Experience and Licensing

Bachelor s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering.

Experience in IT or database administration a plus.

Experience with Java GUI front-end development, SQL, Postgres, or equivalent database tools.

Experience with agile software development.

Experience in Software implementation tools such as JIRA, etc.

Experience in Multiple OS platforms (Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc), Windows systems.

In-depth knowledge of the TCP / IP protocol suite; security architecture; securing and hardening Operation Systems; Networks; Databases; and Applications. Knowledge of project life cycle.
