Job Title: Hitachi Network Manager EMS Engineer
Location: Remote, Travel to Juno Beach, FL
Duration: 12 Months
Summary:
Seeking a Hitachi Network Manager EMS Engineer to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot EMS and SCADA systems for utility-scale power plants. Responsibilities include real-time data management, commissioning, network modeling, compliance reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and administer Hitachi Network Manager EMS and real-time databases
- Support SCADA/telemetry integration (ICCP, RTU, DNP3, IEC protocols)
- Lead FIT/SAT, grid compliance, and system commissioning on-site
- Build, validate, and maintain network models, topology, and connectivity
- Perform SE/CA/OPF tuning and reliability validation
- Develop operator displays, visualization tools, and interface with SCADA/EMS teams
- Execute upgrades, patches, failover testing, and automation scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Ensure NERC CIP/cybersecurity compliance
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, vendors, and project managers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related
- 1+ years Hitachi Network Manager EMS experience (GE/Siemens also accepted)
- Power system operations, SCADA, and EMS knowledge (SE, CA, OPF, ICCP, RTU)
- Scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation experience
- Cybersecurity awareness (NERC CIP), strong analytical and communication skills
