Job Details
The Job You Will Perform:
- Coordinate with department managers, area maintenance supervision and reliability core team members in developing and implementing electrical reliability improvement processes.
- Generate appropriate procedures or practices that positively impact reliability. Execute projects as needed to support the work execution teams in the areas of equipment access or modifications.
- Monitor, track and meet maintenance budget for reliability metrics, including costs, labor, repairs, and contractor services.
- Properly develop maintenance plans that appropriately and economically optimize the life of the equipment.
- Achieve target performance goals for machine performance and efficiency. Enhance reliability metrics mill wide.
- Ensure mill area integrated action plans on electrical reliability elements are in place and executed.
- Provide training on areas such as lubrication, RCFA, and Preventive Maintenance.
- Manage in a goal-oriented environment to deliver targeted results in the areas of Safety, Employee Engagement, and Reliability Excellence.
- Provide mentorship to electrical leaders in the mill, including those outside of the reliability organization.
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
- A bachelor s degree in electrical engineering is preferred with 10+ years of operations, maintenance, and/or engineering experience in a paper manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate leadership in the area of safety, support broad based participation in the mill s safety process.
- Continue to develop and nurture a team-based organization committed to employee participation and teamwork, to ensure the success of the Riverdale Mill. Utilize CSA process to align Balance Scorecard initiatives to personal objectives.
- Maintain a focus on developing a strong reliability culture where a clear partnership exists between Maintenance, Operations and Engineering.
- Manage the area to achieve budget manufacturing costs, working and ensuring appropriate attention to cost issues and searching for new methods to allow cost reductions.
- Foster a culture that supports basic care and improved reliability with goals to reduce the number of reliabilities recordables and the average cost per reliability recordable. Demonstrated ability to focus on closing realizable gaps and obtain success.
