Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop embedded software for camera technology in Apple products. Develop low level device drivers for advanced image processing pipelines in embedded systems for the latest SoC (System on Chip) blocks and chipsets in Apple. Work with the algorithm team to design and develop algorithms to control CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) image sensors, ISP (Image Signal Processor) pipelines, and machine learning pipelines. Optimize image processing algorithms to enhance system performance. Working on HW (Hardware) validation and providing firmware support to factory testing. Implementing features to support hardware testing and diagnosis. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Experience and/or education must include:
  • C or C++;
  • Multi-tasking and real-time control of devices;
  • Image processing;
  • Scripting languages python and bashing for test tool developing and system prototyping;
  • Advanced microprocessor architectures.
