We are looking for Senior Data Modeler for our client in Philadelphia, PA
Job Title: Senior Data Modeler

Job Description:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
- The Senior Data Modeler is responsible for developing advanced data models associated with the enterprise data warehouse, operational systems, and data exchange with limited management oversight.
- This role involves gathering and assessing business and technical requirements to create or update database objects.
- Responsibilities include creating and maintaining entity relationship diagrams, DDL, and documentation using ERwin Data Modeler, as well as identifying solution design options, performing advanced data profiling, and providing subject matter expertise.
- The Senior Data Modeler works closely with Business Systems Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers, and operates independently with minimal guidance.
- 7+ years of proven experience in Data Modeling.
- 5+ years of experience with advanced SQL query techniques.
- Highly skilled in ERwin, including diagraming, complete compare, reverse engineering, and forward engineering.
- Understanding of SDLC.
- Understanding of Agile methodology.
- Strong multi-tasking capability with adaptability to work in multiple environments.
- Ability to estimate scope, prioritize requirements, and provide data-driven solution design options.
- Ability to recognize, elicit, and decompose complex business requirements.
- Ability to perceive patterns and relationships in data.
- Ability to design models integrating data from disparate sources.
- Ability to design data models for complex and ragged hierarchies.
- Ability to design data models for complicated historical perspectives.
- Understanding of data warehousing and decision support tools and techniques.
- Strong ability to manage several concurrent issues and projects.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience advising or mentoring staff on data administration, modeling, and mapping.
- Create and maintain logical and physical data models.
- Apply levels of normalization, abstraction, generalization, subtyping, and classification.
- Design relational and dimensional models, including star schemas and snowflake designs.
- Apply methodologies such as Inmon and Kimball.
- Perform data profiling, metadata management, and ensure data security.
- Work with ETL and BI processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams.
- Utilize cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience creating data models for BigQuery, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL databases.
- Experience in healthcare insurance or a related field strongly preferred.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Expertise in ERwin.
- Strong analytical capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
