Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee and enhance IT and data operations for our organization in Grand Prairie, Texas. This Contract position involves managing IT infrastructure, supervising a technical team, and delivering high-quality reporting and analytics to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and leadership skills to drive process improvements, ensure system reliability, and align IT strategies with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support the IT team, ensuring clear priorities and effective delivery of services within defined service-level agreements.
Monitor and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and storage systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Develop and implement strategies for incident, problem, and change management to maintain system stability and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the operations team to create and deliver accurate reporting, dashboards, and data visualizations that support informed decision-making.
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies, IT security standards, and industry regulations.
Manage vendor relationships, monitor service-level agreements, and provide input for budget planning and cost tracking.
Oversee system access and permissions, ensuring secure and reliable data management across IT and BI platforms.
Stay informed on emerging IT and business intelligence trends to implement best practices within the organization.
Requirements
Proven expertise in data analysis, dashboard and report design, and translating data into actionable insights.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Take on the stewardship of our Salesforce environment, meticulously maintaining all basic administrative functions such as user account upkeep, reports, dashboards, workflows, and other day-to-day tasks
Champion data cleanliness and integrity, ensuring our customer data in Salesforce remains accurate, relevant, and beneficial
Maintain and automate business processes using custom objects and workflow rules, and document enhancements and maintenance tasks.
Hands-on experience with platforms such as Microsoft Exchange Online, Office 365, Azure AD, SharePoint, Salesforce, and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Familiarity with technologies like Active Directory, Cisco systems, backup solutions, and configuration management tools.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
Demonstrated ability to manage IT security, data governance, and compliance requirements.
