Job Title: Admin/Data Validation & Entry

- This is a fully onsite role. Only LOCAL candidates willing to work 40 hours/week onsite will be considered.

Job Summary:
This position goes beyond basic data entry. The role requires data validation and critical thinking to ensure the accuracy of the entered data. You will be reviewing source documents, identifying errors, and proactively resolving issues. Experience with blueprints or permits is highly beneficial, as these documents will be the primary focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Validation & Entry:
- Review source documents for accuracy before entering data.
- Locate and correct errors or flag discrepancies for supervisor review.
- Data Verification:
- Compare data with source documents to detect and resolve errors.
- Re-enter data as needed for verification.
- Document Management:
- Organize, store, and maintain completed documents in appropriate locations.
- Download data from the web and import into custom database software.
- Communication:
- Resolve unclear or poorly visible information by collaborating with others.
- Communicate effectively in writing to meet the needs of the audience.
- Time Management & Coordination:
- Efficiently manage time and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with vendors for pick-up and drop-off schedules.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Seek ways to improve practices, eliminate redundancy, and add value to work processes.
Skills & Requirements:
- Critical Thinking: Ability to identify issues and resolve them proactively.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is key in this role.
- Experience with Blueprints/Permits: Preferred but not required.
- Time Management: Ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong written communication is essential.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift boxes up to 35 lbs.
