Job Duties

  • Devise or modify standard operating procedures, methodologies, and guidelines for the ERP systems users and administrators, encompassing best practices, data, architecture, security, quality, maintenance, and enhancement protocols.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and support of SAP B1 ERP program, including system modifications and integration changes to enhance performance.
  • Design, build, QA, test, and generate reports using information databases. Analyze data to ensure completeness and meet organizational needs.
  • Perform data entry and troubleshoot to identify and resolve data processing errors, ensuring data integrity within ERP systems.
  • Ensure successful conversion and update of ERP data during and following system upgrades.
  • Create and maintain technical process documentation for ERP systems and integrations, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation.
  • Provide timely assistance and technical support to ERP users in resolving issues and deploying core business processes.
  • Develop and run Microsoft SQL scripts, debug programming issues, and perform database maintenance to support ERP system functionality.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the ERP s financial transactions and reporting structure.
  • Monitor and report routine ERP system performance to ensure optimal operation.

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP and related modules.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming/debugging and database maintenance to support ERP system functionality.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Crystal Reports, and other reporting tools for generating comprehensive reports.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies, such as EDI and ecommerce, to facilitate seamless integration with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot ERP system issues and identify effective solutions.
  • Proficient in designing, building, QA testing, and generating reports using information databases to meet user needs.
  • Skill in performing data entry, identifying data processing errors, and ensuring data integrity within ERP systems.
  • Ability to provide timely assistance and technical support to ERP users, resolving issues and deploying core business processes.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, analyzing configurations, and developing improvements to enhance ERP system functionality.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with ERP, including QA functions.
  • 3+ years in MS SQL programming/debugging, 2+ years in DB Maintenance.
  • Experience with SQL database platforms and reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Crystal Reports).
  • Experience with ERP integrations, including EDI and ecommerce.
  • Working knowledge of standard hardware/software in a desktop/server environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
