About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Solutions Architect to oversee the Guidewire cloud platform and drive its global adoption in support of specialized insurance products. This role is pivotal in shaping the long-term roadmap for the Guidewire platform, ensuring alignment with both enterprise business strategies and the evolving Guidewire ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise application architecture, cloud transformation, and platform modernization, with a strong focus on driving innovation, standardization, and scalability across a complex application landscape.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and guide the global rollout of the Guidewire cloud platform
  • Build a long-term roadmap aligned with business strategy and Guidewire updates
  • Oversee application portfolio and help select the right platforms for Everest
  • Lead modernization efforts and drive adoption of new technical capabilities
  • Ensure solution designs follow best practices and integration standards
  • Maintain architecture documentation and technology standards
  • Mentor delivery teams and architects; lead workshops and reviews
  • Assess cloud readiness and support Guidewire transformation initiatives
  • Track software versions and manage open-source and third-party tools

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years in software development, with 3+ years as an architect
  • 3+ years working with Guidewire, including cloud platform experience
  • Experience with Commercial Lines (Auto, Workers' Comp, Liability) is a plus
  • Skilled in designing scalable, resilient cloud applications
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and networking
  • Preferred certifications: Guidewire Cloud, Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform Architecture
  • Experience with data migration, analytics, and insurance data models

For CA, NY, NJ or IL: The base salary range for this position is $173,000 - $237,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
