Job Title: Principal Integration Engineer (Capital Markets)
Location: New York (Remote and willing to visit customer location based on business needs)
Duration: 12+ months contract
Principal Engineer - Expertise in Integration Systems:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer specializing in integration systems to join our Engineering team with 12+ years of experience. As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of highly integrated brokerage systems. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team and other stakeholders to create scalable, low latency, and highly available systems with a strong focus on integration.
What You'll Need:
- At least 12 years of experience in Software Engineering with at least one of these programming languages: Java, Python, GoLang, focusing on system integration.
- 5+ years of experience in fin-tech specifically in Capital Market, Trade Lifecycle, pre trade, post trade, Equity, Mutual funds, portfolio management, Wealth Management, Payment or SaaS with strong integration skills. Proficiency in Test Driven Development and writing effective unit/integration tests for integrated systems.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and automated testing frameworks for integrated environments.
- Experience with design and development of REST API platforms ensuring seamless integration.
- Proficient in No SQL, SQL, and Stored Procedures such as in Postgres, MySQL, with a focus on their integration roles.
- Deep knowledge of Messaging Platforms (AMQ, Kafka) and building integrated async platforms based on such technologies.
- Experience with Unix, Linux Operating Systems in the context of integrated systems.
- Familiarity with Scrum and other Agile processes tailored for integration projects.
- Knowledge of Jira, Git, Jenkins in the context of managing integrated systems.
- Experience with 24x7, highly available integrated architectures.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in explaining integration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on integration challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
