Job Description: Sales Engineer
As a Sales Engineer, you'll be the crucial link between our sales team and our customers, serving as the technical expert throughout the sales process. You will leverage your deep product knowledge to understand customer needs, present tailored solutions, and ensure our products meet their technical and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for our products and services. Lead technical demonstrations, presentations, and discussions with prospective customers and partners.
- Solution Design and Architecture: Collaborate with sales and customers to analyze their technical and business challenges. Design and propose solutions that effectively address their needs.
- Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Management: Lead the technical execution of PoCs and pilot programs to validate the proposed solutions and demonstrate their value and return on investment (ROI).
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key technical stakeholders, acting as a technical advisor and ensuring a positive customer experience from initial contact through implementation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to provide customer feedback, inform product development, and ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions architect, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Technical Acumen: Strong technical background in IT, wireless technologies, networking, and cloud technologies. A solid understanding of technical concepts and the ability to apply them to real-world problems is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a creative approach to finding solutions for complex customer challenges.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
