Business Analyst Adobe Digital Asset Management (DAM)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets / Digital Asset Management (DAM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gathering business requirements, documenting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement DAM solutions that align with marketing, content, and brand goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with business stakeholders, marketing teams, and creative teams to gather and document DAM requirements.

  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for Adobe AEM Assets.

  • Collaborate with technical teams, UX designers, and DAM architects to ensure optimal solution design and delivery.

  • Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations for DAM structure, metadata models, tagging strategies, workflows, and user permissions.

  • Support DAM implementation, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment activities.

  • Define and document asset lifecycle workflows (ingest, approval, distribution, archival).

  • Assist in data migration planning and asset taxonomy structuring.

  • Train business users on DAM functionalities and best practices.

  • Act as the liaison between business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery.

  • Monitor DAM adoption and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in digital content or marketing technology domains.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets / DAM platforms.

  • Strong understanding of asset metadata, taxonomy, tagging, and digital rights management.

  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical documentation.

  • Knowledge of creative workflows (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud tools, asset review/approval processes).

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud integrations and connectors.

  • Experience in large-scale DAM implementations or migrations.

  • Understanding of web content management systems (e.g., AEM Sites) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and content distribution channels.
