Primary Duties:
Windows Server Management:
Expertly managing, installing, and fine-tuning Windows Server systems and associated software to maintain high levels of performance, security, and accessibility.
Operational Oversight and Diagnostics:
Regularly monitoring system metrics, swiftly identifying anomalies, and conducting hardware and software diagnostics to guarantee continuous IT infrastructure functionality.
Information Security and Regulatory Adherence:
Formulating and upholding stringent security protocols, including the implementation of robust access systems, firewalls, consistent backups, and recovery frameworks to secure organizational data and comply with applicable standards.
End-User Assistance and Education:
Delivering dependable technical support, addressing system queries, resolving issues for users, and facilitating training programs to improve overall system proficiency and effectiveness.
Maintenance and Enhancement of Systems:
Coordinating the timeline and installation of system updates, patches, and modifications to rectify security issues, heighten system utility, and ensure modern software usage.
Documentation and Analytical Records:
Generating comprehensive system records, containing configuration details, operational guidelines, diagnostic instructions, and incident logs to provide stakeholders with current and precise data.
Infrastructure Growth Forecasting:
Interpreting system utilization statistics, forecasting future resource requirements, and planning for system expansion to meet prospective organizational demands and shifts.
Interdepartmental Cooperation:
Working in tandem with various teams, including those specializing in networking, database management, application development, and IT assistance, to secure the integrated and consistent operation of all system components.
Essential Abilities:
Technical Proficiency:
Adept in the management of systems, with a strong emphasis on the administration of Windows operating systems.
Expertise in deploying SaaS platforms/vendor applications both on-site and in cloud environments.
Proficient in executing PL/SQL scripts and managing databases.
Analytical and Resolution Acumen:
Skilled in diagnosing and fixing intricate system complications, sifting through system logs, and devising efficient solutions to reduce operational disruptions and foster system efficiency.
Interpersonal and Team Coordination:
Outstanding communication competences for clear interactions with users, stakeholders, and peers, coupled with a proven track record of effective teamwork.
Automation and Coding Know-How:
Knowledge of scripting languages (such as PowerShell, Bash, Perl) and the application of automation mechanisms to simplify administrative duties, automate recurring actions, and boost operational productivity.
Task and Project Supervision:
Capable of juggling several assignments and initiatives simultaneously, overseeing system transitions, and delivering on project timelines while adhering to financial constraints, with an understanding of JIRA/ServiceNow being beneficial.
