Job Details

Location & Work Arrangement

  • City, State: Jackson, Mississippi
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite (Required; no remote candidates will be considered).
  • Contract: This is a Contract position.
  • Mode of Interview: Either Webcam or In Person.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend work required.

Core Responsibilities and Technical Environment

The Systems Administrator will be a key member of the team, focusing on the deployment, administration, and maintenance of critical enterprise infrastructure components.

1. Microsoft Enterprise Administration (Required Expertise)

  • Server OS: Administration of Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Identity & Access: Management and support of Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services.
  • Cloud & Productivity: Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.

2. Virtualization & Hardware Administration (Required Expertise)

  • Virtualization: Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (server virtualization).
  • VDI: Experience with VMware Horizon (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).

3. Network and Security Foundations (Required Knowledge)

  • Possess a Working knowledge of network connectivity and protocols.
  • Possess a Working knowledge of security best practices.

4. Preferred/Desired Expertise (Not Required)

  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Monitoring/Management: Familiarity with SolarWinds Orion, Varonis DatAdvantage, and KACE SMA.
  • Storage/OS: Experience with HPE Nimble Storage and Linux.
  • Database: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
