Travel up to 90-95% of the time

HEAVY HEAVY travel position

Should be local to EWR/LGA/JFK (EWR is Newark Liberty International Airport, located in New Jersey. LGA is LaGuardia Airport, located in Queens, New York. JFK is John F. Kennedy International Airport, also located in Queens, New York)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform maintenance activities as per vendor specifications on a variety of display products/servers/audio video equipment/etc that are part of the integrated solution.
  • Troubleshooting of the integrated solution as necessary, which includes addressing hardware (computers/servers, audio/video equipment)
  • Troubleshooting system configuration, network and software/OS issues
  • Troubleshoot display equipment as needed, including interpreting any error codes, determining cable vs.display issues, etc.
  • Documenting all customer issues for use by support staff and management

EDUCATION: Associate's Degree Required, Bachelors Preferred

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Audio Video system integration experience with a focus on display cube setup and calibration required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer support/service environment preferred
  • CTS certification preferred
  • Network+ and/or Security+ preferred

Specific Skills / Certifications:

  • Familiar with either NetSuite cloud applications or other similar CRM systems
  • Time spent learning a custom software solution preferred
  • Training experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Travel up to 90-95% of the time
  • Other tasks assigned by Management from time to time

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Light to medium duties onsite repair that may require removal of LCD/Server equipment from mounting structures.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $30.00-$32.00 per hour.
