Title/Role: Power Systems Application Engineer (Remote Position) Location: Seattle, WA (Remote 100% may require travel to different locations) Experience: 8 10 years

Role Description:
We are seeking a Power Systems Application Engineer with deep knowledge of the electric utility industry and expertise in OMS, DMS, and EMS systems. The role involves data modeling, system implementation, and advanced software development for utility customers in transmission and distribution operations.

Essential Skills:
Strong knowledge of electric utility industry practices.
Functional understanding of Outage Management (OMS), Distribution Management (DMS), Energy Management (EMS) applications.
Exposure to CIM and model exchange formats.
Hands-on experience in Data Modelling.
Proven software design & development at the application/technical level.
Strong SQL & PL/SQL programming skills.
Experience implementing EMS, ADMS, and SCADA systems.
Customer engagement experience with Electric Utilities (Transmission & Distribution operators).
Ability to define software specifications, design, code, test, integrate, deliver, and maintain solutions.
Leadership in technical/domain knowledge for power application engineering teams.

Desirable Skills:
Advanced experience implementing EMS, ADMS, SCADA.
Lead and contribute to power systems application software development for on-time project delivery.
Strong ability to translate customer expectations into functional and technical solutions.
Domain expertise in Power Systems, Transmission, and Electrification (GEV).
