Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled OCP/Kubernetes Expert / Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage container orchestration platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes, with a strong background in cloud-native technologies, automation, and platform engineering.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Experience with scalable, secure, and highly available OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with deploying containerized applications and microservices architecture.
- Automate platform configuration as Code (CaC) in Ansible.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and platform reliability.
- Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Implement security best practices for container orchestration platforms.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to platform architecture, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud-native technologies.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) working with Kubernetes and OpenShift Container Platform.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration concepts, networking, storage, and security in Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified OpenShift Administrator (COA) certification.
- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards related to container platforms.
- Experience with ALOps practices.
- Familiarity with serverless frameworks and functions.
