Role: SDET [API and Kafka Testing experience]

Location: Weehawken, NJ/ Hybrid

 

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SDET [API and Kafka Testing experience] to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating, setting up, and maintaining software test automation pipelines in GitLab. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through efficient and effective test automation strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automated test frameworks and scripts using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to design, implement, and execute automated tests for new features and enhancements.
  • Maintain and enhance existing test automation infrastructure to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test automation failures to identify root causes and implement timely resolutions.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt industry best practices for test automation tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Document test automation procedures, guidelines, and best practices for knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

 

Required Skills & experience:

  • 10+ years of Senior Automation QA experience
  • API Testing using RestAssured/Selenium
  • UI Testing—Selenium/ Selenide Automation
  • Data reporting – all UI/ API’s test data and results are stored in PostgreSQL DB – convert it into the dashboard - Test results repository + integrate with test management tool
  • Integration with CI/CD
  • Kafka Testing- From data production in a bona fide kafka cluster to its subsequent consumption.
